Upcoming Community Events

WE THE PEOPLE reclaim Flag Day as our own. With America’s 250th anniversary on the horizon, we face a critical decision about our national identity. Will we permit our future to be shaped by division and abuse of power? Or will we instead write a new chapter, defined by solidarity, where diverse communities come together to safeguard our rights and build a democracy truly run By the People, For the People?

On June 14th we will peacefully gather at Veterans Memorial Park (located at the intersection of Biesterfield Rd & Wellington Ave.) in Elk Grove Village to reclaim the values of justice, equality, and community—the values symbolized by our flag. Bring your friends, family, and pets to enjoy live musical entertainment, inspiring speakers, and a united community!

Join us to joyously display our patriotism, honor our veterans, exercise our First Amendment rights, and celebrate 250 years of Democracy!

Pride Month is here! Help make support, acceptance, and belonging visible across Palatine!

The Community Mental Health Project is proud to partner with Northwest Suburban Pride & Action Network and Glens Friends for a community-wide Palatine Pride yard sign campaign supporting local LGBTQ+ mental health programs and initiatives right here in Palatine.

With a contribution of $20 or more, supporters will receive a complimentary Palatine Pride yard sign delivered directly to their home by local volunteers.

These signs are more than decorations. They’re visible reminders that LGBTQ+ individuals and families are valued, supported, and welcome in our community.

Together, we can help build a more compassionate and inclusive Palatine for all.
